Position: – Goalkeeper

Willie started playing football as a centre half.  He joined Mill United in Hamilton aged 14.  He was signed by Aberdeen and played for the Dons for a season.

After being released by Aberdeen he rejoined Mill United and turned his hands to goalkeeping.

Aberdeen again showed interest in Willie this time as a goalkeeper and signed him once again.

Aged 18 he got a full-time contract with Motherwell and spend 2 years at Fir Park.

After being released he spent 6 months with Celtic before signing with Ayr United where he spend the last season and  a half.

Wullie signed with Queen’s Park in August 2014.

Wullie moved to East Fife in June 2016 before returning to Queen’s Park in August 2016.

He then moved to Airdrie in January 2018, Forfar in July 2018.

Wullie re-signed for Queen’s Park in July 2019.

Willie made his debut for Queen’s Park in the Petrofac Training Cup 1st round game against Berwick Rangers at the Excelsior Stadium on Friday 25th July 2014
Wullie’s most memorable moment at Queen’s Park was gaining promotion to League One in the play off final against Clyde on Saturday 14th May 2016.
